School Performance & Ofsted

School Performance and Data Summary

Ofsted Parent View

Parent View is a publicly viewable survey that parents can respond to every academic year and at any point during that year.  It is the same survey as is used during an Ofsted inspection.  Our school was last inspected in May 2025 so the survey has more responses on it at the moment than it may do usually. Below is a headline summary of key questions and a screen shot of the survey responses at the time of the inspection.  You can also click the link below to complete the survey or view the live outcomes.

Headlines

72 Parents responded on the survey at the time of the inspection:

  • 100% of responders say their child is happy at our school.
  • 99% of responders say their child feels safe at our school.
  • 86% of responders fee the school makes sure the children are well behaved (4% do not know, 10% disagree).
  • 91% of parents feel their child has never been bullied or that the school has dealt with the incident quickly and effectively.
  • 87% of parents  feel their child does well at our school (6% do not know, 7% disagree).
  • 88% of parents would recommend our school to other parents.

These responses will be used to explore further ways in which the school can improve.

Desford Community Primary School LiFE MAT Edurio Surveys

Ours and other schools within LiFE MAT also carry out regular staff, parent and pupil surveys that enable us to benchmark ourselves against each other and 100s of other schools across the country who use the same platform, a national comparison.  We use these surveys to celebrate successes and to inform next steps and developments for the school.  The latest surveys were completed in the Spring Term of 2025 and are shown below.
