The Public Full Governing Body Minutes are published after they are ratified by Governors as a true and accurate account of the meeting. This happens at the start of the following meeting and any amendments are recorded by the Clerk.
Governors hold six Full Governor meeting per year which follow a cycle of Full Meetings and Briefing Meetings where all governors are requested to attend. Full Meetings are detailed and cover all our statutory responsibilities throughout the year whereas Briefing Meetings are usually shorter and include an aspect of training which is not minuted.
Occasionally it is necessary to call an Extra-Ordinary Full Governors Meeting if there is an issue that needs Governors consideration more promptly.
